Blimey, where is the year going? the kids are off for Easter and here in Ireland it's almost St.Patricks Day. New in this week is Dew from Patons.This is a silk,cotton,acrylic and viscose yarn. There is fantastic leaflet support and as it is knit on 4.5mm needles it is quick to knit.We have 6 shades for you to choose from and at £3.25 per 50gr ball it is good value.

Aero Multi and Plain chunky are today added to the range online. We ahve been selling these yarns in the shop for a while and both are extremely popular. Mega chunky is so fast to knit that you can be wearing your garment in a matter of days. Pattern support is great and most leaflets have two designs on each copy so great value.Have a look you won't be disappointed.

We have just added new Spring / Summer shades in Wendy Supreme cotton dk. This is a well established 100% mercerised cotton dk. It comes in 100gr balls and at £3.35 per ball is excellent value for your fabulous summer wardrobe. Leaflets are easy to follow so get ready for warmer days to come.

We have added some new yarns for Spring/Summer--yes isn't it great to think of warmer days ahead! Sirdar Calico dk is just the yarn to take on your hols-lovely pastel shades,60% cotton so cool to wear and only £3.00 per 50gr ball-great designs too. Then for baby Snowflake chunky has been re-launched in 25gr balls at £1.50 per ball. The designs are really cute and a cosy blanket is welcome at any time.New colours in Baby Bamboo and Tiny Tots completes the new additions to the Sirdar range so far.
More to follow from other spinners in the near future-so lots to get excited about in 2008!!

Gosh didn't January go by fast--and isn't it cold? Great time to settle down in front of the fire and get those knitting projects underway. New on the site this month is Elle Cascade dk-multi coloured and knits to standard dk patterns. Also some new kits-Kaffe Fassett sock kit and a Knit your own Shaun the Sheep kit-ideal presents or just a treat for yourself.

We hope the festive season hasn't left you too shattered and you are now ready to put those resolutions into practice.Firstly get your New Year knitting projects organised-over the next couple of months Spring/Summer arrives--well at least in the yarn industry if not the weather!! we are already receiving deliveries into the shop so soon they will be online for you to view.Therefore time to get clicking and complete the winter wardrobe--brighter days are coming...
10/12/2007 - Apologies for disruption.
May we apologise for the disruption to our online site over the last week. This was entirely due to problems at the webhosting company and beyond our non-techie control!but all is now sorted -so back to the Xmas knitting. I must recommend a great book "the Friday Night Knitting Club" by Kate Jacobs, if you want Santa to bring an extra present--i can really relate to it --say no more!! As the shopping gets frantic over the next few weeks curling up to knit and read is the perfect relaxation.
