About Us

Jean's Wool Shop-named after my Mother-started back in 1957 in Belfast-two years later twins arrived (my friends say I'm knitted, that they can see the seams and that's how my Mum got two the same!) - and thankfully business boomed. Over the years we have had shops in various locations around Belfast and now trade from our shop on the Cregagh Road in East Belfast-not far from George Bests home territory, premises we have been in for over 40 years.

The wool trade has changed considerably from those early days, (though some of the styles are back in fashion) and moving with the times has helped us survive and grow.
